This product has been created out of 100% solid wood.
Base: Ash
Ash is a domestic hardwood that belongs to the olive and lilac family. The 'soft' variety is very popular for interiors and woodworking thanks to a great quality of finish, which despite the name offers great strength and flexibility.
Stripes: Sapele
Sapele, sourced from West Africa, is a reddish-brown hardwood. It has a beautiful grain and finishes well. Sapele is not only used for furniture and cabinet work, but also panelling and decorative veneers.
